3D animation has gained a lot of popularity recently. Especially, with the development in 3D computer games and 3D animations in movies, it is increasingly becoming a career option for many youth. A 3D computer animation software is a kind of software that is used to make three dimensional images with the help of computers. If you have just begun to learn 3D animation, you can start by buying one such 3D animation software. However, you should know that 3D animation is a complex task and need lots of time and expertise to learn it. Basically, the 3D packages are classified into two. The first one is a non-commercial package that is available as an open-source and can be downloaded for free. The second type of 3D package is the commercial source. These are paid sources that are priced according to the quality and features of the program. A popular commercial program of 3D animation is 3D Studio Max. It is compatible with AutoCAD and can be used for three dimension visualization of architectural designs. Cinema 4D and Form-Z are some other popular 3D modeling software. Cinema 4D is used because of its low price and simplicity where as Form-Z in used by architects for the accuracy it offers.
